Quest Guide: Ben Nemtin
FIU Online invited producer, writer and television personality, Ben Nemtin, to present as the keynote speaker for the annual conference. When Nemtin was battling depression, he wanted to feel more alive. That’s why he created the world’s greatest bucket list with his three best friends. They borrowed an old RV and crisscrossed North America, achieving the unthinkable. Every time they accomplished a dream, they helped a stranger cross something off their bucket list, too. From playing basketball with President Obama to having a beer with Prince Harry to surprising a girl with a much-needed bionic arm, Ben’s bucket list quest has inspired millions.

The Faculty Choice Awards have been re-imagined with new award categories. These categories are Excellence in Learner Engagement, Innovative Course Design, Best Use of Technology, and Online Course of the Year.
